Data import

We’re happy to help migrate data from legacy tools (TestRail, Zephyr, spreadsheets, etc.). Self-service import tooling is in progress.

How imports work today​

  1. Export your existing repository (CSV/XLSX/JSON) along with any attachments.
  2. Email the export plus mapping notes to [email protected].
  3. Our team converts the data into TestFish suites, cases, plans, runs, or requirements and schedules a maintenance window to import it.

Tips​

  • Include clear column headers and any lookup tables (status, priority, custom fields) to minimise back-and-forth.
  • If you use external defect links, export IDs so we can maintain traceability.
  • For large imports (>50k cases) we may stage the data in batches to keep systems responsive.
