Subscription
TestFish starts every organisation on a free 30-day trial. You can stay on the free plan (limits apply) or upgrade to a paid plan at any time.
Billing profile
Before upgrading, provide:
- Billing email – Receives invoices and payment reminders.
- Billing address – Required for tax compliance.
- Payment method – Managed securely via Stripe’s customer portal. Cards can be added, replaced, or removed at any time.
Plan management
- Upgrade – Choose a plan (monthly or annual) and specify the number of seats (TestFish auto-syncs seat counts with active users).
- Downgrade – Move back to the free plan if you remain within free-plan limits (projects, runs, requirements, etc.). TestFish blocks the downgrade if usage exceeds limits and shows what you need to reduce.
- Cancel / resume – Cancel immediately or at the end of the billing cycle. Resume at any time before the cycle ends to avoid disruption.
- Invoice history – Download invoices/receipts directly from the billing screen.
Free plan limits
The free plan caps key resources (projects, test cases, runs). TestFish surfaces usage counters so you know when you’re approaching a limit. Exceeding limits requires upgrading to continue creating new records.
Tips
- Keep at least two Owners with billing access so someone is always available to manage payments.
- Update your billing email if your finance team changes.
- Use the audit log to track plan changes for compliance.
