ClickUp

ClickUp integration keeps defects and requirements aligned with your ClickUp spaces, lists, and tasks.

Organisation-level setup

  1. Go to Configuration → Integrations → ClickUp.
  2. Authorise the TestFish ClickUp app and pick the workspaces it can access.
  3. Test the connection; TestFish stores the OAuth token securely.

Project configuration

Within a project open Integrations → ClickUp and set up a project integration category:

  • Team & space – Select the ClickUp team and space that should receive synced items.
  • Folder or list – Choose where defects should land. You can pull lists by folder or directly by space.
  • Statuses & priorities – Map TestFish workflow states, severities, and priorities to ClickUp equivalents.
  • Assignees – Fetch list-level assignees so changes propagate between systems.

Usage

  • Creating or updating a defect in TestFish can create/update a ClickUp task with description, attachments, status, and assignees.
  • Link existing ClickUp tasks to maintain traceability without duplication.
  • Use the Sync Defects button to reconcile data if changes happen directly in ClickUp.

Tips

  • Keep the ClickUp hierarchy lightweight—dedicated defect lists make automation easier.
  • Use ClickUp custom fields to mirror TestFish severity/priority if you need one-to-one mapping.
  • Pair the integration with automation tokens so CI pipelines or webhook handlers can update both systems in real time.
