Test Suites

Test suites provide the folder structure for your repository. They keep functional areas, platforms, or regression packs organised while giving quick access to nested test cases.

Creating and organising suites

  • Fields – Name, optional description, and optional parent suite (supports unlimited nesting).
  • Hierarchy – Drag-and-drop or choose a parent to create tree structures (e.g., Mobile > iOS > Smoke).
  • Positions – Suites keep their own ordering so you can surface the most-used folders first.
  • Search & filters – Instant search and typeahead make it easy to jump to large suites without scrolling.

Working inside a suite

  • Test case list – Selecting a suite loads its test cases, including status badges, workflow state, reviewer status, tags, and linked defects/requirements.
  • Bulk actions – From the suite view you can bulk update or delete cases (respecting review policies), restore deleted cases, and switch suites for multiple items at once.
  • AI creation – Kick off AI-assisted generation for selected suites; results are inserted at the top with review status set by project policy.

Use suites to mirror product architecture or release streams. Keep naming consistent so reports and exports remain easy to read.
